Catherine Benavidez, President / CEO 

Catherine founded IMO in 1991 and is a licensed Occupational Therapist and Certified Case Manager (CCM) with more than 25 years of Workers’ Compensation, work-related injury, and clinical experience.

Catherine is active in the Texas Occupational Therapy Association and was recognized as the OTR of the Year in 2002. She shares her expertise in Health Care management speaking nationally to various industries and health-related groups and has published articles on Health Care management techniques for medical providers.

Catherine and her team are the reason for IMO’s steady growth and positive reputation across the Cost Containment industry.  She was appointed by Governor Rick Perry to serve on the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners in 2009 and was one of the 25 chosen honorees for the 2011 Dallas Business Journal Women in Business award program. Gary Nelson, Chief Operating Officer

Gary has a 26-year history of solid growth with companies focused on product and service delivery.  In his most recent environment, he was part of an executive management team driving growth of five founding employees with a value of $3M to their current state of 650 employees with a value exceeding $6.2B.

Gary is currently responsible for all strategies involving information technology and compliance as the COO.  He has strong financial budgeting and accountability ethics and joined IMO in 2008. Email Gary >> 

Dawn Bergerson, Director Medical Case Management & Network Administrator

Dawn is a licensed Occupational Therapist and Certified Case Manager (CCM) with over 25 years of experience. Her expertise is in the areas of Case Management, Ergonomics and Industry Care Services and has worked with IMO since 1995.

Dawn has been instrumental in the implementation and delivery of a certified network and is responsible for the results of medical cost reduction through her extensive oversight and supervision. Donna Ramsey, Director of Account Management

Donna has over 25 years of experience in the Medical Cost Containment and Health Care environments and has been with IMO since 2004.  She was the Senior Director of Clinical Cost Management, Supervisor of Bill Review and a Customer Service Representative for over 17 years with one of the largest companies in the industry.

Donna’s proven track record and performance has allowed her to build healthy relationships with the Division of Workers’ Compensation along with major carriers, TPAs and employers in the State of Texas.
