November 2011 IMO Employee of the Month – Stacy D.
Our IMO November 2011 Employee of the Month is Stacy D. in the Houston office! Stacy is a homegrown Houstonian and has served as a Utilization Review Intake Coordinator for IMO since 2008. She attended Texas Southern University where she studied Respiratory Therapy.
With 10 years of Workers’ Compensation experience, Stacy loves helping injured workers resume their ordinary job and life duties. “The right medical treatment is key”, she says.
Stacy is truly honored to be nominated as EOM and believes her co-workers help her succeed on a daily basis. Here are what some of her nominators had to say:
“I have heard Stacy explain things to claimants and she speaks to them with respect and concern and clarifies any question they might have called in with … She is a positive person … She works very hard and wears many hats in our Houston office. She is very knowledgeable and is always willing to help. I truly believe she deserves to be Employee of the Month.”
“Stacy is a dependable, hard worker. She will often bring the nurses something she has found in her quick review of the medicals to alert us to something that we might need to look into a little more. She is prompt in setting up requests, most of the time the same day the request arrives on the fax … She is a great listener when we (the nurse team) need to think out something about a request we are working on and need someone just to listen.”
“Stacy is always willing to help, not just the nurses in the Pre-Authorization department, but everyone here. I have observed her willingly assist others with complexities involving the Pre-Authorization process and Bill Review issues. She has over 10 years of expertise and is a very valuable asset to us and the IMO family as a whole. I am very impressed with her professionalism and the way she handles callers and injured workers.”
