IMO has a 20-year history in managed care; a history first established with Nonsubscriber clients. With an understanding of provider panel customization and Work Injury / ERISA Plans, medical care and early intervention with a return-to-work (RTW) emphasis are key. IMO’s mission in partnership with Nonsubscribers is to closely and directly work with the employer in managing their injuries, their people, and their costs.

A Care-Centered Medical Management Model:  IMO offers Nonsubscribers an integrated “Care-Centered Medical Management Program”, which can be uniquely customized (see chart below).  Within this model, IMO provides a panel of doctors who are directly credentialed and contracted within IMO’s Nonsubscriber Med-Select Network^®.  These are both primary physicians / clinics and specialists.

It is also our goal to work directly with these providers through education and oversight while assisting with their understanding of the client’s Work Injury / ERISA Plan as well as any needs or concerns. This includes an aggressive approach to RTW programming with a commitment from the providers to address RTW based on objective medical findings. A focus on injured employees’ functional abilities is essential in this process.
